Food
Children are daily provided with nutritious lunch under free Noon Meal scheme of the Government of Tamil Nadu. A separate kitchen and a cook and materials are provided by the Govt for the preparation and distribution of the lunch to the students. The kitchen building is in dilapidated condition and also space is not adequate. There is urgent need to construct new kitchen with 200 sq.ft area with all amenities at a cost of Rs.5 lakhs. We solicit donors for this project
Sports
Children are now playing in the open space available in front of the school. The present play area is not suitable for using as play ground.The are to be developed to suit for playing most popular rural sports such as KHo-KHo, Kabadi, Ball Badminton, etc. We need financial support to the tune of Rs.2 lakhs to provide necessary facilities for the sports.
Smart Class Room
Nagapattinam district is not having modern facilities like Smart class room in the school. We are planning to construct and set up a separate Smart class room for the children to equip on par with city school. It is estimated that approximately Rs. 5 lakhs is need for procurement of all electronic gadgets for the establishment.
Infrastructure Development
The school needs very urgently about 1500 sq.ft of additional construction area for into 6 class rooms and including a separate class room for SMART CLASS . The cost of construction is estimated around Rs.30 lakhs. The additional space will ease out the present of problem of congestion and also take care of future expansion. We need a sponsor for this noble cause.
Furniture
Presently, the furniture available to the students are not adequate and also require replacement as they are broken. In addition to this the primary class children are sitting in the floor. To avoid this we have to purchase table and chairs costing around Rs.3 lakhs is required. We invite sponsor for this project.
